We have always loved playing board games and often friends and family would come to us for advice on any old or upcoming games and whether they were worth a try. We had always found that playing board games and card games was a great way for everyone to come together and make some fantastic and fun memories. This love of board games also extended to trading card games, many tournaments as well as casual play events had been attended over the years.
This passion for what we loved turned into a potential business idea, we then went about finding suppliers and connecting with as many people as we could and built our online business Jester Games Store!
Initially we started to sell some trading card games, accessories and then incorporated board games and card games into our offering. Our aim, where possible, was to always sell at the recommended retail price or below and offer that personalised service for our customers.
We had been running the business since The end of 2019 and throughout a very difficult pandemic but we could see there was a market locally for a games store and events space. We worked super hard to find the right location and retail space and that is where we are today in Cheadle Village!
We are so excited to continue to grow and develop as a business and want this to a be a brilliant space for people to come together, learn, make friends and ultimately to have fun!
