Pokémon League Challenge

Join us every month for our Pokémon League Challenge.

Get started in the world of competitive Pokémon at League Challenge and League Cup tournaments.* These events are smaller, local events at recognized Play! Pokémon Stores.. League Challenges are entry-level competitions suitable for players of all experience levels. League Cup competitions are a step up from League Challenges—players can expect tougher competitors vying for higher rewards.

In Pokémon League Challenge and League Cup tournaments, players can earn season-long rewards, as well as Championship Points that go toward earning an invitation to the World Championships!

Pokémon TCG players need to bring their own 60-card deck, a Deck list must be provided before check in cut off. 

Standard Format 

Swiss, best of 3. 

Number of Rounds Determined by the number of players. 3 (+1 round for every 8 players)

There will not be a top cut, the tournament will conclude if there is one undefeated player.

Each player will receive a minimum of 1 Pokémon Booster pack and a Play Pokémon pack for participation, Scaled Prizing with number of players. 

Players will also receive 1 Championship Point for attendance and depending on placement can earn the following Championship points. 

Championship Point values are subject to change.
